About Static Nails

Static Nails was founded in 2014 by Alexis Irene. Alexis was obsessed with beauty and all things related to it. As a teenager, she struggled to find the right beauty products since each one of them was a miss. There were many options but she would always end up being let down by product claims and performance. That’s why she made a promise to herself that she would start a beauty brand that prioritized innovation over replication. She promised that she would make products that actually work. Products that are tested and proven. She kept the promise.

Today, Static Nails makes products using the highest-quality ingredients that are safe and better performing. The brand made a breakthrough with its first Reusable Pop-On Manicure, the first non-toxic, odorless polish remover, and the first non-toxic, USA-made lash liner adhesive.

Static Products

Reusable Pop-On Manicures is one of the most popular products and customers love them! Each nail lasts up to 18 days, meaning you can wear them for a week and then re-apply them up to 6 times for shorter wears. They are durable and fully customizable –  you can paint and even reshape them. Thanks to these pop-ons, you can get salon results in seconds without spending time and damaging your nails.

How to apply Reusable Pop-On Manicures?

First, wash your hands and dry them completely.

Next, push back cuticles and select the best-fitting nail for each finger.

Then, apply an even layer of glue (that comes with the nails) to the back of the reusable nail and your natural nail. Press down firmly for about 30 seconds. Make sure that the pressure applies to the entire nail. Check whether there are any air pockets and press them out before moving on.

Optional: Touch up and reshape your Pop-On Manicures using the file included or a nail clipper. The good thing is that Pop-Ons can be filed from any side, even the cuticle area. So if you want to shorten the nail without losing the tip design, just file the cuticle area.

Last but not least, to keep your skin hydrated and repair dry and damaged areas, use Static Rapid Repair Nail & Cuticle Oil.

If you want to remove Reusable Pop-On Manicures never force or pull them off. Use Static Non-Toxic, Odorless Polish & Pop-On Nail Remover to effectively dissolve the glue and then gently push under the Static Nail to lift the sides when they are ready to be removed. The entire nail will “POP” off immediately when light pressure is applied.

Currently, there are over 200 different types of Reusable Pop-On Manicures on the official website. Each one of them can be applied in seconds and is waterproof, vegan and cruelty-free, reusable, and non-damaging.

Liquid Glass Lacquers

Static Nails offers 97 breathtaking shades of Liquid Glass Lacquers. This amazing product is loaded with rich pigments and natural antioxidants for a healthier manicure. If you want your lacquer to last up to 10+ days without chipping, I suggest pairing it with Static Nails Liquid Glass Primer and Top Coat.

Liquid Glass Primer smoothes the nail’s surface and increases color adhesion. With its key ingredients, Rose Hip, Coconut Oil, and Green Tea, it promotes nail growth, and nourishes, hydrates, and strengthens your nails.

Top Coat helps prevent chipping, adds strength to your manicure, and amplifies the high-gloss shine.

Each Static Nails Liquid Glass Lacquer is non-toxic, fast-drying, long-lasting, vegan, and cruelty-free. Oh and made in the USA, as well.

Non-Toxic Odorless Polish & Pop-On Remover

Speaking of a nail polish remover, if you’ve ever used those aggressive, toxic polish removers that damage both your skin and nails, it’s time for a change.

Static Nail’s Non-Toxic Odorless Polish & Pop-On Remover is non-toxic and safe to use. It’s also completely odorless and it leaves skin and nails feeling hydrated and conditioned. On the other hand, if you don’t like odorless polish remover, there’s one with a delicate rose scent, as well.

You can use it to remove polish, lacquer, non-UV gel polish, glitter polish, press-on nails, pop-on nails, and nail glue.

Magnetic Lashes

Static Lashes are another non-toxic, clean product made using innovative, custom formulas. The secret lies in an ultra-thin contour band with 10 super-strong micro magnets that align seamlessly to your natural lash line. The lashes are made of the finest quality materials and a unique blending method.

There are three lash collections available – Feeling Natural, Feeling Flirty, and Feeling Glam.

3-in-1 Non-Toxic Lash Adhesive Liner

We know that an adhesive liner is more powerful than a glue liner but it’s also way more toxic. Unlike others, Static Lash Adhesive Liner is not just the first non-toxic lash liner but the first USA-made lash liner as well. It is made from the highest quality ingredient and a sweat-proof, glue-free, latex-free, water-resistant formula that keeps magnetic and non-magnetic lashes in place all day long.

For maximum hold, make sure to use powder to absorb excess oils before use. Next, apply an even line as thick as the lash band. Wait for about 45 seconds before applying a second coat. Give it another 30 seconds and then you can apply your favorite Static Lash.

Do not use the lines on your waterline or lower lash line.

Shipping and Returns

Static Nails ships for free across the USA for orders over $65. For orders below the mentioned amount, a flat $6.95 fee applies.

The company ships worldwide as well, but due to international shipping restrictions on certain liquid products, Liquid Glass Lacquer, Instant Strength Nail Hardener, and Quick Dry Drops may only be shipped within Canada and the USA (except for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and The Virgin Islands).

Speaking of returns, Static Nails doesn’t offer returns or exchanges on all lash and liquid products due to sanitary purposes. For other eligible products, you may return within 14 days of the delivery date for store credit only. The items must be unopened and unused. The company doesn’t offer exchanges at this point.

Customer Reviews

Customer reviews play a vital role in picking a product. I’ve reviewed a bunch of comments on various authority websites such as Trustpilot and Amazon. Customers are pleased with the products and in some poorly rated reviews they praise the products but complain about the customer service.

On Trustpilot, one happy customer says that she loves Static Nails. She can tell that her nails are stronger now and she praises that lovely liquid glass look. Another happy customer was pleased with shipping times since she ordered her nails on 3 separate occasions. She recommends the nails and praises quick shipping.

Speaking of negative reviews, most of the comments are regarding customer service. There are some comments about the quality of the painted nails – some customers complain that the paint went off after re-applying the nails a couple of times. The customer service explained that the nail base is reusable but they to repaint the top layer.

Another unhappy customer complained that she couldn’t put on the thumb nail.

The bottom line is – Static Nails doesn’t have exceptional reviews online but the customers are pleased with the products. The majority of negative reviews are related to the company’s policies and customer service.

Is Static Nails Worth It?

Alexis and her team did an amazing thing. They made safe, non-toxic, cruelty-free products. And those products rock! Yes, they are more expensive then average lashes or nails, but at least they are not toxic. Currently you can pick among 200 different pop-on nail options and 90+ lacquers. Also, there are odorless nail polish removers as well as the first non-toxic, USA-made lash adhesive liner.

Yes, I’d say Static Nails is definitely worth it.
