Jack Mason Watches

The Avigator Collection

The Avigator Collection was inspired by the original men’s wristwatch of the 1930s. Back in the 1930s soldiers would solder wire lugs to their pocket watches in order to wear them around their wrists. The design and style are back and Jack Mason pays homage through The Avigator Collection.

Avigator Multi-Scale Chronograph

Avigator’s design is inspired by the “Golden Age of Aviation” back in the 1930s. The case is made with 316L stainless steel and it’s waterproof up to 100m. It features Swiss Super-Luminova markings and indices for high legibility. Also, a navy sunray dial and a tan Italian strap give a beautiful look to a classic design. Besides quick-release pins, the watch features Miyota 6S50 movement, as well.

Avigator Multi-Scale Chronograph comes in four options – Navy Dial With Tan Leather Strap, Black Dial With Brown Leather Strap, White Dial with Brown Leather Strap, and Off White Dial with Brown Leather Strap.

Additional features: 1/10th Second, Running Second, 60 Minute Counter, Center Chronograph Second Hand, Big Date, Tachymeter, Telemeter.

The Canton Collection

If I had to pick one word to describe the Canton collection, I’d pick – class. These formal watches exude luxury appeal and are packed with features you could only see in luxury vintage timepieces.

Canton Day-Date Automatic

Canton Day-Date Automatic is a modern version of a classic dress watch. Inspired by iconic watch silhouettes, it features a stunning sky blue dial perfectly matched with silver hands. The case is made with 40mm 316L stainless steel and tested for water resistance of up to 100 meters. Furthermore, the tapered stainless steel bracelet is fitted with quick-release pins and is compatible with any Jack Mason 20mm strap.

Speaking of features The Canton Day-Date Automatic features sapphire crystal and a Miyota 820A movement.

There are four different styles available in The Canton Collection – Sky Blue Dial with Stainless Steel Bracelet, Silver Dial with Stainless Steel Bracelet, Gold Dial on Gold Stainless Steel Bracelet, and Blue Dial with Stainless Steel Bracelet.

The Ellum Collection

I’d never wear a Rolex. I prefer something more subtle. Something minimalistic. If you enjoy minimalism and subtlety The Ellum Collection is designed for you. The watches are under 10mm thick and they perfectly fit under the cuff of your shirt.

Ellum

This beautifully crafted slim dress watch is inspired by style back in the 1950s and 60s. The dome-shaped white dial matches perfectly with the black Italian leather strap. The watch is fitted with quick-release pins, sapphire crystal, and a Miyota 1L45 movement, and the 40mm stainless steel case is waterproof up to 100m.

There are four Ellum watches available in The Ellum Collection – White Dial with Black Leather Strap, Sky Blue Dial with Tan Leather Strap, Navy Dial on Black Leather Strap, and Gold Dial with Black Leather Strap.

Lifetime Warranty

Jack Mason watches come with a lifetime warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but it does not cover damage from normal wear and tear.

If your watch has any kind of defects that the warranty covers, it will be repaired at no charge. If your watch is damaged by inappropriate handling, you can replace it or have it repaired. The company charges a fee of $100 if you decide to have your watch repaired. Whether the repair is covered by warranty or not, the process can take up to 8 weeks, not including shipping.

Things You Should Know

Even though Jack Mason watches are waterproof, there is still a chance water can penetrate your watch and damage it. To avoid this make sure the crown in the closed position before contact with water. Also, do not push any buttons on chronograph or operate the crown when the watch is wet or under water. Needless to mention, you shouldn’t expose the watch to depths/pressure greater than what is marked on the dial or case back.

Speaking of watches with leather straps, keep in mind that water resistance applies only to the case. Water exposure may damage your leather strap and it may become brittle.

Last but not least, Jack Mason watches aren’t resistant to strong magnetic fields. Exposure to such fields may affect the accuracy of keeping time.

Shipping and Returns

Jack Mason offers free ground shipping on orders over $100. It takes 3-8 business days to deliver by FedEx. For orders below $100, a $7.50 flat fee applies. For US customers, express shipping options are available as well.

Are Jack Mason Watches Worth It?

Online reviews are brutal sometimes. People can’t wait to hook onto some flaws and exaggerate them. Having this in mind, I couldn’t find many reviews or comments regarding the performance or the quality of Jack Mason watches. This tells a lot about the product.
